Promotion and job status adjustment are fundamental rights for public employees in the State of Kuwait. Kuwaiti law guarantees these rights in accordance with the principles of justice and equality . However, some administrative bodies may arbitrarily neglect to promote a deserving employee or fail to adjust their job status despite meeting the eligibility requirements. This requires resorting to the administrative judiciary to claim rights.
